Blood sample collection and HRT/hormonal contraception https://www.sportsbloodtests.co.uk/support/blood-sample-collection-and-hrt-hormonal-contraception/ Tue, 10 Oct 2023 11:15:12 +0000 https://www.sportsbloodtests.co.uk/?post_type=help&p=890 Our MyFORM® RED-S test cannot be taken by women using HRT or hormonal contraception as the test only works for women having a natural menstrual cycle. This is because a blood sample needs to be taken on day 14 and day 21 of a woman’s period.

All other tests containing hormones can be taken by women on HRT or hormonal contraception.
